LIMA
LIMA is named for the family that has produced grogue on their land in Santo Antão, Cabo Verde for generations. Joao de Deus Lima began bottling grogue and distributing it for the local market under the name Vale d’Paul named after the famous valley on Santo Antao. This specific landscape was formed for thousands of years from volcanic activity which created an exclusive combination of resources that produce sugar cane with a taste found nowhere else in the world.
